Anna Christina: Photographer

This weekend I learned I can't divide my weekend from my work week. I realized working full-time in the PR world, being a freelance blogger and working retail doesn't mean I am a 24-hour hotline. Being able to balance it all is something I'm still trying to figure out. Since moving to the City by the Bay I've been "attempting" to do it all.

But there is one thing missing... a photographer.
I've had the opportunity to work with some amazing photographers in Omaha, Chicago and San Francisco. So needless to say, the time has come for another photographer to join Anna Christina.

Send your portfolio to annachristinapalagi@gmail.com.
I'm looking for someone who loves fashion and is up for an adventure!

Please let us know if you have any questions!

Stella & Dot Must-Haves

As my Stella & Dot collaboration comes to an end, I thought why not share with you my five all-time favorite pieces. From statements to minimalistic, find what sets you apart!

Are you looking for a easy pop of color? This necklace with its triangular stones accented with hand-cut translucent sparkle, hand-set in gold plating is your answer. If you're looking for more of a statement piece, try laying it with the Sutton necklace.

This striking bib had intricate feathers that are  hand sewn to silk organza cascade. It is simple yet classic. It has been seen on TV personalities such as Kourtney Kardashian and actress Shay Mitchell.

White bronze or gold plated spikes and black diamond pave beads adorn this Renegade cluster studded bracelet. Mix, match, and stack it with other bracelets to create your favorite combination.

4. Rebel Ring

Inspired by Stella & Dot's bestselling Rebel Pendant, this statement ring showcases the classic gold plated rebel bar with micro pavé detailing. It is classic yet bold!

5. Signature Engraved Bar Necklace

This is truly great gift for yourself or someone you love. Personalize with initials, name, dates, geographic coordinates and more. Tell your story!

The Bejeweled Blazer

As a twenty-something year old young professional, you would think blazers would be my best friend, but instead we have a love hate relationship. I hate traditional blazers and love the ones that make a statement. (It's true. If I took a picture of my closet right now you wouldn't see a neutral blazer in sight.)

Therefore, when I came across this beauty, I had to splurge. It is feminine and fitted with clean lines and slightly longer length. In a classic houndstooth, it nails the menswear-chic mix with a stunning head-beaded standing collar.

You'll probably wondering, why would I by a statement blazer? It isn't versatile. That isn't true. You can pair this blazer with a crew neck sweater or a graphic tee. I've even worn it with a button down. It is about having your own style and having the confidence to rock it!

If You're A Bird, I'm A Bird

I want to be clear that I am not a relationship expert, so everything I write on this topic is solely my opinion and based on my personal experiences.

I feel like all people fall in love at least once in their lives - not because they find love, but for another reason. People always say they find love, but they really find someone they can love. And then they choose to love. Sometimes falling in love seems entirely involuntary.

You breathe naturally as you love naturally, and although you may not consciously choose to breathe, you can choose not to breathe. Sure, it'll kill you. But living a life entirely void of love is a worse kind of fate than death itself.

People don't so much choose to love; they choose not to love. If people don't have qualities we believe are lovable, than we won't love them at all. At the same time, however, since everything is a matter of perspective, it all comes back to us deciding that someone isn't worthy of our love.

That's why the first time you fall in love can't entirely be described. But once the honeymoon stage is over you find yourself wondering what happened and then you're faced with the truth, love hurts.

Bubbles and Baubles

Today's look is all about how I style my Stella & Dot jewelry. I chose to go with a neural uniform to accent all my beautiful baubles.

Neutrals are the basis of any wardrobe they mix and match with everything. One of the most elegant combinations is when you pair neutral tones together. When you wear the palette head to toe, they blend and accent off the other shades. Complete all your neutrals with an investment necklace and some arm candy.

Stella & Dot has quite a few fabulous necklaces that are guaranteed to get you stopped at least once per wear asking you where it's from. They're styles are classic, sophisticated and fresh, making the brand itself extremely addicting. Each piece is extremely versatile making it perfect for work or indulging in ice cream on a hot summer day!

I am highlighting some of my favorite pieces from their newest collection as well as some classic must-haves, which is why I've teamed up with Stella & Dot for a fabulous giveaway. Check out my Instagram (@annachristinapalagi) for more details! Don't forget to come party with me at my virtual Stella & Dot truck show going on until April 22nd!
